Introduced in 1963, the Eleiko bar was the first to be used during an entire competition without bending or cracking. A remarkable feat at the time!

The renowned Eleiko powerlifting bar is made from special Swedish steel hardened and toughened to resist very heavy loads. Deep knurling is provided to give an extremely good grip and 50mm sleeves are mounted on bronze bearings specially designed for powerlifting. Ten years warranty. IPF approved.

Made from the purest Swedish steel and hardened to resist very heavy loads, each bar features deep knurling to provide an extremely good grip. The 50mm sleeves are mounted on bronze bearings specially designed for powerlifting to ensure the smoothest of rotations. They are affixed to the bar shaft by means of internal locks. These are recessed within the surrounding sleeve and are capped to prevent any outside contamination. We never compromise the integrity of the sleeve by fastening it with side screws. We guarantee the Eleiko bar will be maintenance free and the locks will never, ever work loose. It's all part of what defines that special "Eleiko Feeling".

• Ten Year Warranty.
  Guaranteed for 10 years against bending, cracking or breaking for any amount of weight properly loaded onto the bar during normal use or competition. Guarantee does not apply to bar drops on safety racks, cages or automatic spotting devices. Warranty is voided if end caps are purposely removed. So how long does it really last under normal wear? We don't know. Bars made 30 years ago are still in use around the world!

• Ram Jack Tested.
  Forged of special Swedish steel, hardened and toughened to resist the heaviest of loads, each handcrafted bar is ram jack tested under the most torturous conditions. How torturous? We bend the sleeves of every single bar with 2000 kg of hydraulic pressure. If the sleeves don’t bounce back to .5 mm true straightness, we melt it down and start again. The bar itself must survive the 1500 kg ram jack test before it is signed and certified by the craftsman who created it.
