We delivered a brand new set of Eleiko competition weights to master lifter and super deadlifter Raymond Cavileer just in time for his West Coast 100% Raw Powerlifting Internet Meet held in Yorba Linda, California on November 23, 2008. The competition featured 78 year old Robert Cortes who made all 3 deadlift attempts finishing with 402.5 lbs weighing only 151.6 lbs.! Check out the video after the jump. The meet would have been the world's first synchronized lifting competition between the west coast and east coast as well as being the first two meets every held simultaneously over the internet only if east coast meet director Paul Bossi had his internet connection working. |
